Unmarshal’s core vision is to build a self-sustaining decentralized network of blockchain data nodes that can serve the entire web3 space. What began by indexing just the Ethereum chain on our central node, has now turned into an ecosystem of indexers with support for over 10 chains including a series of Layer2 chains, all within a span of 12 months. In the process of building a decentralized network, we’re now setting up a pilot of running a Decentralized NFT Indexer Network, offering an open opportunity by calling node runners to host the Unmarshal Founder Nodes.
What is a Founder Node?
The Unmarshal Founder nodes are a clone of Unmarshal’s original NFT node for Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Polygon which reliably serves data to over 10 long term clients of ours. There will only be 25 of these nodes existing in the pilot program, which will be granted to selected candidates who will be able to host and get rewards for their contributions.
The initial node network is supported by a small group of 25 volunteers that run the Founder Nodes from their home computers or cloud servers. Being a node runner provides multiple avenues of earnings and a chance to become an early supporter of Unmarshal’s growing ecosystem.
