Unmarshal Quarterly Review: A Recap of Q1 2021 Events
Since the launch of Unmarshal on Feb 1, 2021, our journey kickstarted successfully with massive support from our investors, beloved community and various DeFi Entrepreneurs. Our belief in building a composable Web3 and serving the ecosystem with customer-centric data has been received with a lot of appreciation. We would sincerely thank you all for backing us with our idea and helping us reach so far.
We would like to reminisce on the major events and announcements that happened at Unmarshal over the course of Q1 2021.
💰Unmarshal raises $2.6M USD from Established Investors in DeFi Space
We raised a total of $2.6M USD in the seed and private rounds to build an advanced network of Data Indexers that can cater to the entire DeFi Ecosystem.
The Venture Capitalists who have invested with us include Woodstock, Blackedge, GBV, NGC Ventures, SPARK Digital, Particle XYZ, AU21, Amesten, X21, Zokyo, Altonomy, Brilliance Ventures, ExNetwork, AscendEx (Previously BitMax.io).
🛠️Major Product Releases
We introduced our first set of APIs with a sandbox that supports Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, Polkadot, Stafi, and Edgeware Blockchains to fetch tokens balances, transaction, and transaction details APIs.
Developed Unmarshal NFT API from BSC and Ethereum, for dApps, Wallets, and Custodians to fetch NFT details from blockchains.
🤝Strategic Partnership with Major Chains to add Infrastructure Support
Polygon (Previously Matic Network)
Strategic partnership with Polygon — An L2 solution that achieves scale by utilizing side chains for off-chain computation. The partnership has further enhanced the adoption of Polygon Network making Indexing and Querying more accessible.
Elrond
Added infrastructure Support to Elrond Chain with a powerful strategic alliance. The move enabled developers to easily host powerful applications. The endpoint integrations included Restful APIs, Websockets, Push Notifications, GraphQL, Insights & Analytics API making applications feature-rich and contextual.
Algorand
We received grants from the Algorand community to build a modern and intuitive infrastructure layer on the Algorand Chain. Our partnership has enabled applications to scale in no time by integrating with reliable, real-time on-chain data from Algorand Chain.

StaFi
With our robust partnership with StaFi protocol, we have now facilitated seamless access to the on-chain data to StaFi, enabling users to have a greater and intuitive user experience.
Fuse.io
With a strong alliance in place, we have enabled Fuse to query interoperable on-chain data with ease including such as wallet balances and cross-chain bridge transactions which will enable their end-users to be data-driven
DeFi Wizard
Our partnership with DeFi Wizard has made developers eliminate recurring of smart contract creation, simplifying the common DeFi Legos through the One-Click Wizard.
Frontier
Our strong association with Frontier has now made us a an authorized data provider for Aggregation Layers. We are providing support to Frontier on multi-chain interoperable data that will make their end-users to have a better visuals on their assets and transactions.
🚀Launching $MARSH and Unmarshal IDO
We introduced our $MARSH Token Metrics and Distribution with different use cases and incentives to the network contributors. We also explained the token emission details and briefed about the network roles
On the 30th of March 2021, we successfully closed the public sale of $MARSH through an IDO on Polkastarter and Community distribution on ZeroSwap. We also listed $MARSH on Uniswap, one of the major decentralized exchange protocols.
As we progress through the upcoming quarters of the year, we are planning to unravel some of the major product updates and partnerships. We’re looking forward to the continued support to make Unmarshal successful.
